Firefighter Door Operations • Assess structure and point of entrance • How far from apparatus • Obstructions • Working length needed for occupancy type • Select deployment method • “Accordion FWD / Accordion REV / V-Split”
Firefighter Door Operations • Deploy line and call for water • Secure line while being charged • Assess “AVPP” • Air bled • Volume appropriate and sustained • Pattern set/known • Pressure appropriate AVPP Check on the door you’re about to access
