  3. ON MY TRIP I WILL BE BUILDING SHELTERS AND HELPING UNDER PRIVILEGED FAMILIES . HELP ME GET TO KENYA BY BUYING YOUR RAFFLE TICKET TO HOPEFULLY WIN ONE OF TWO HAMPERS FILLED WITH LOADS OF GOODIES. I WILL BE IN THE ATRIUM AT LUNCHTIMES WITH THE HAMPERS FOR YOU TO SEE AND YOU CAN BUY YOUR RAFFLE TICKETS FOR £1. THE WINNER WILL BE DRAWN ON SATURDAY 27th SEPTEMBER AT MY FUNDRAISING QUIZ/BINGO NIGHT HELD AT LASSWADE RUGBY CLUB FOR WHICH I AM ALSO SELLING TICKETS FOR £5.

  4. Attention all S1 and S2 pupils Is there something about school you think could be better or changed????? Do you have some cool ideas to help improve our school???? Please discuss this with your class rep as they will be meeting soon to raise issues at your pupil forum. You have a pupil voice – use it!!!!

  5. Pupil Voice..... S2 Class rep meeting in 012 at 1.15pm Wednesday 24thth September. Bring a packed or if you need to buy lunch you can get a pass for early lunch from reception.

  6. S3/4 Italy Trip Collect a parent/ carer permission slip from Miss Hargreaves this week. It must be returned with the non-refundable deposit by 2nd October. Any problems with this let Miss Hargreaves know.

  8. Snow Sports Trip: Italy 2015 If you missed the meeting last week, can you please bring your payment card to Kat in the library this week. Reminder to all: the full cost of the trip needs to be paid in November

  10. Young person friendly health drop-in@ Lasswade High School • A new drop-in has opened in the Conference Room, on the 1st Floor of the Community Wing • Every Thursday 3.30 – 5.30pm • Why don’t you come along and have a chat to someone

  14. Ice Bucket Charity Challenge Remember to vote for the teacher you would like to see covered in water on Friday lunchtime! 20p a vote in the Dining Hall break and lunchtime on Wednesday and Thursday.

  15. Comic Art Club If you enjoy comic books, cartoons or superhero movies, why not try coming up with your own? If you’re interested, come along to Mr Stanton’s Comic Art Club on Monday lunchtimes in room 012. First meeting Monday 22nd September. All ages and drawing abilities welcome!

  16. Paired Reading A reminder to all S1 and S6 pupils involved in paired reading to go to the library on Monday 22 September at 8.30am – you will be registered there!

  19. S3 – S5 Battlefields TripJune 2015 Pick up a form from Mr McKay, Mrs Crawford or Mr Murray in the history dept ASAP

  20. Girls Football There will be a meeting in the PE dept at morning interval today. Can all players please attend! Seniors and U15!!

  21. Pupil volunteers required! – All year groups welcome! Pupils who’d like to help out at this year’s Science Alive Gala Day on Saturday 11th Octoberplease come to a meeting in room 105 on Wednesday 24th September at 1.20pm Activities include – performing science demos, helping the public, running the Lasswade HS stall

  23. Ice Bucket Charity Challenge The ice bucket challenge will take place straight after school today in the playground. Everyone is invited to come and watch!

  24. S1 Family Learning Event Tue 23 Sept 6.30pm - 8.30pm Prefects wanted to help - please sign up on the board outside Guidance.
