  3. The NAACP Legal Strategy When deciding the NAACP’s legal stance, Charles Hamilton Houston had his focal point on the prejudice in the segregated schools that are in many states. At the time of segregated schools the nations spent ten times more money on education a white students more than minority students. Because of this, Houston centered on the organizations minimal resources on testing the obvious bias of separate public education.

  4. On the left we see a public school for white students, and on the right we see a public school for minorities.

  5. Brown V. Board of Education

  6. Brown V. The Board of Education Marshall’s most astonishing accomplishment on May 17, 1954, as the case known as Brown V.s the board of Education. In the case the father of an 8 year old girl named Linda Brown charged the Board of Education in Topeka, Kansas. The charge was denying Linda’s rights by denying her admission to a segregated school four blocks from her home, the nearest all african american school was 21 blocks away.
