morning text message: “what kind of pizza tells bad jokes?” “you…” “a cheesy one, fool!” buying two pizzas… “lady, your card’s been denied.” my friend spotted me! pizza scent wafts by; not for me and not for you. my heart is broken.
i am feeling sad! all my friends are transferring. ice cream, heal my soul. intent to do work! sat with textbooks and papers. … napped for two hours. knock out on the bus, start to lean on soft shoulder. stranger’s! stop! close call.
“I can’t tell if you’re a genius or a moron.” my mother knows best. “excuse me!” she griped. nope, sorry, i’m hugging my friend. walk obstruction of love.
