Saving Children in Poverty (SCIP) is one such non-government organisation (NGO) that contributes to a lot of positive projects in Sector-Four Slum of Faridabad in India. It runs a SCIP ECO School which educates around two hundred slum kids for free. It also runs a SCIP Medical Clinic that provides free healthcare facilities to the women and children living in the slum, while also organising medical healthcare camps for the same. Apart from this, it also runs a women empowerment project called SCIP SEWS that helps poor women to be self-sufficient and to be financially independent by giving them a way to generate income and live with dignity. It also contributes to the education of 10-15 children every year, by launching the SCIP Annual Sponsorship, where children are supported to continue their studies at the Nehru Academy School. Sponsors from around the world help with their hard-earned money by contributing to this cause because education is a way forward.
