  3. The Making It Was Built on order of King Edward the 1. It took 2,500 workers to build. They started building in 1289 and finished in 1292.

  4. Design Caernarvon castle is known for it’s hourglassdesign and it’s octagon shaped towers.

  5. Facts In English it is spelledCaernarvonCastle. In other languages it is spelled Caernarfon castle. It is also the biggest castle in Whales. It has a strange hourglass shape. Today royalty is still crowned there.
