This project aims to explore the potential of using water from a spring to develop an improved and affordable reverse osmosis (RO) plant design. The objectives include reducing the cost of permeate water, decreasing energy consumption, and exploring the use of low salinity brines. The study will include a review of new desalination technologies, energy recovery systems, and potential cost reduction strategies. The deliverables will include a feasibility report for a low-cost desalination unit and the design of an improved transportable RO unit.
