  2. Course Objective • To familiarize the students to the basic concepts of management in order to aid in understanding how an organization functions • Understanding the complexity and wide variety of issues managers face in today’s business firms.

  3. Course Outcome • The students should be able to describe and discuss the elements of effective management • Discuss and apply the planning, organizing and control processes • Describe various theories related to the development of leadership skills, motivation techniques, team work and effective communication • Communicate effectively through both oral and written presentation

  4. Assessment Strategy • Exam Duration – 180 Minutes Question Paper Pattern • Part-A: 10 Question X 2 Marks = 20 Marks • Part-B: 5 Question X 13 Marks = 65 Marks • Part-C: 1 Question X 15 Marks = 15 Marks • Maximum Marks – 100
