Capturing Your Essence: Self-Portrait Project Guidelines

This self-portrait project requires you to create a portrait of yourself, either from a front or ¾ view. You may use a mirror or a high-quality printed photo for reference, which must be submitted for approval. The portrait should depict you from the bust up, touching the bottom of the page with some space remaining at the top.   3. How you will be graded • Can I tell who it is supposed to be? • Are the proportions correct? (Follows the idea of halves) • Is there a background value? • Is there a wide range of values overall? • Is the drawing complete and reach to the bottom of the page?
