  3. Prof. R.V.S. Yadav • Born in Bauli Narthnapur (U.P.) on the 27th July 1937. • Graduation and Post Graduation from KGMC Lucknow. • Trained in Transplantation in Australia. • Set up the Department of Transplant Surgery at PGI Chandigarh. • Pioneered cadaveric transplantation as well as introduced the donor card

  4. Prof. R.V.S. Yadav • Trained over 25 transplant surgeons and was responsible for setting up of more than fifteen transplant centres • Published more than 86 indexed publications.

  5. Prof. R.V.S. Yadav • Awarded the Padamshree by the Govt. of India • Instrumental in initiating the transplant games in India.
