Every Day Counts Initiative FHWA program deployed to states via 10 regional summits Initiative partners include: FHWA Division Offices, FHWA Regional Offices, State Transportation Departments, Research Institutions, Industry Representatives, and MPOs/COGs South Carolina participated in the Atlanta Regional Summit The Every Day Initiative was designed to identify and deploy innovation aimed at shorting project delivery, enhancing safety, and protecting the environment Each state identified their own initiatives and set specific goals and corresponding performance measures

  2. Everyday Counts Initiative South Carolina has identified 10 initiatives Each initiative has both a SCDOT and FHWA champion An action plan has been developed for all 10 initiatives to include goals and performance measures Quarterly updates are provided to FHWA summarizing current status
