Carlisle Cullen • Carlisle was born in London in the 1640s • Son of an Angelican pastor. • Once a hunter of witches and vampires • He became a vampire after being attacked by one. • Over 300 years old, but looks to be in his late 20s. • His compassion for humans drove him to become a doctor. • Power to control himself around blood • Head of the Cullen family

  3. Edward Cullen • Born in 1901 • He and his mother were dying of Spanish Influenza • Mother begged Dr. Carlisle Cullen to save her son • Changed in 1918 by Dr. Cullen • Is a 108 year old vampire who looks 17. • Power to read minds

  4. Esme Cullen • Was born in Columbus, Ohio in the late 1800s • Changed into a vampire by Carlisle after a failed suicide attempt following her infant son’s death. • Around 26 at the time of her death. • Now is Dr. Cullen’s wife and the mother figure in the family. • Very loving

  5. Rosalie Hale • Born in Rochester, New York in 1915. • She was raped and beaten by her drunk ex-fiancé and his friends and was left in the streets to die. • Found in the streets by the Cullens • Around 18 when she was changed by Carlisle • Can be very hostile • Possesses extreme beauty.

  6. Emmet Cullen • Born in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in 1935 • Rosalie discovered him after he’d been mauled by a bear. Rosalie discovered him after he’d been mauled by a bear. • Now Rosalie’s husband and was changed by Carlisle • Looks around 20. • Big, strong jock of a vampire.

  7. Alice Cullen • Born in 1901 in Biloxi, Mississippi • Committed to an asylum because of her premonitions. • The tracker James was going to kill her so a sympathetic vampire who worked at the asylum changed her to save her. • Appears to be around 19. • Power to see into the future.

  8. Jasper Hale • Born in Texas. • He was a confederate soldier in 1861 • Turned into a vampire in 1863 by a woman vampire named Maria when he was 20. • He joined into the Cullen family with Alice, who had a premonition of their meeting. • Has a hard time controling himself around blood.
