  3. Example Questions 1: (7+8) 5x2 . Usually in a bodmas question like this you would start with the multiplication first but when there are brackets you do the sum in the brackets first. 2: 9x2 4+1. In this question you start with the multiplication because in the rules of bodmas multiplication comes before addition. 3: 32÷8 8-5. In this equation you start with the division because division comes before subtraction in the bodmas rules.
