My Content • My Content is more like Windows Explorer in that you can drag & drop in order to add, organize, consolidate, and share your folders. • The new interface allows you to click a button to cut, copy, move and paste content. • You now have the ability to permanently delete or restore items from your trash bin.
Video Resource Update • Share button to get URL link to post (will still need to login) • Continually adding additional content from Myth Busters, Magic School Bus, Planet Earth, and Human Body • State Standards are now available all the way down to the clip level • Mouse over to get a 10 second preview • Search by Standards or Advanced methods

My Classroom • Create a classroom • Make duplicate classrooms • Assign by class or student • Assign by URL or Code • Start by creating a class • Use the Builder Tools to create an assignment • Assign to individual class, multiple students or entire class • Or locate your materials through My Content and assign from there • View results by class/student
Student Accounts A Note about Student Logins • Site Admins (CRSs, LMSs, and TISs) can edit usernames, change passwords and add users if necessary. • As new students come into the district they can be added by CRSs, LMSs, or TISs. • Teachers can add students, edit students and reset passwords for students they have added to a class. • All of the above groups should use the established user id guidelineswhen adding or editing a student. Student passwords do not have to adhere to the defaults above. • Students under 13 years of age will receive a notification form not a permission form. Students have access to login to their own account • The upload of Parkway students to Discovery Education is complete. Parkway has approximately 20,000 registered DE users. • Secondary Student • Usernames = their Novell ID • Password of @@@_parkway. Ex. sms_parkway • If a student has transferred to another school within Parkway, their account will need to be shuffled and their password will be from their original school
