  1. Test plan PI will test F-MAN tools on: 2 types of wagons (Uacs, Himrrs) 2 types of operation (timetable supervision – 3 Uacs, status supervision – 2 Himrrs) Activities: Control of timetable supervision mode on corridor Koper tovorna – Treibach-Althofen including ETA (check ISUP, Hermes) Control of wagon status data (check ISUP, Hermes, phone calls) Calculation of exploitation indicators for freight wagons (check F-MAN database extraction; result: XLS tables post processing) Report tables (check F-MAN DB extractions; result: XLS tables on wagon history, timetable and ETA performance) Software presentations and survey on users’ attitude about F-MAN tools, interface,...

  2. Timetable supervision procedure • PI operator will be assisted by ISUP (SZ IS for traffic management) and Hermes (internationally based IS for wagon management) • Procedure: • PI operator “piom” will check the information in the ISUP and Hermes. • Upon the information “piom” will place an order to AMM. • PI operator “pifm” will assign the wagons to the order complying with the AMM procedure • Upon the information of the movement (AMM and DPM) and information form ISUP and Hermes “piopm” will assign the appropriate timetable to the wagon and send it to OBT • “piopm” will sporadically check the information in the F-MAN system to the ISUP and Hermes IS. • “piopm” will note his observations and react to the alerts • AMM and DPM administrators need to provide F-MAN DB extractions on periodically basis (2 weeks)

  3. ISUP – wagons’ application - start

  4. ISUP – wagon 317993210549 history / 1month

  5. ISUP – wagon 317993210549 - record • Details on wagon history record

  6. Hermes

  7. Hermes – query result for 318746680137 wagon

  8. Control of wagon status • Status will be controlled for all five wagons: • check of wagon position and status • comparison of data with ISUP and Hermes and phone calls • response to alerts raised by F-MAN tools • entering special states (maintenance, damage,...) • report on functionality of the tool (suggestion of enhancements) • recording of special observations

  9. Exploitation indicators • Proposed exploitation indicators are evident in W5PI_TN_7023: • speed indicators • inequality analysis • productivity in terms of time • productivity in terms of distance (proposed: cost – related to distance) • Exploitation indicators analysis is based on the F-MAN database • Exploitation indicators have been limited according to the availability of the data from AMM and DPM – DB extractions (reports) • DB data will be processed reported in XLS worksheet

  10. Report tables • Report tables are based on F-MAN DB extractions • Document W5PI_TN_7023 lists the required data to make a report • Two types of reports: • wagon based (all wagons: list of wagon positions and wagon states) • corridor based (3 wagons on corridor: control of timetable and ETA) • Reports contain description of observations and problems

  11. Wagon status table

  12. Timetable and ETA supervision table

  13. Users’ feedback • Functionality and operation of F-MAN system will be presented to Slovenian Railways operation and management staff • FM of Slovenian Railways will use the system as backup support • Survey of the attitude of the users - report
