  1. WELCOME toMrs. Percifull’sClassroom 310 • Take a seat • Double check your schedule---this is room 310 • Keep all supplies with you and wait for further instructions! • YOU MAY BEGIN THE SHEET ON YOUR TABLE!

  2. DAILY PROCEDURES • Walk QUIETLY into the classroom. • Check mail tray for any handouts • Write assignments in agenda EVERYDAY • Student leaders will pass out journals • Begin bell work: always on agenda board • Sharpen pencils AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS, during bell work.

  3. Always raise your hand and wait to be called upon when wanting to speak, ask a question, or answer a question. Never interrupt the teacher or another student. ASK 3 BEFORE ME! This means that during WORK TIME, ask 3 other students your question FIRST. If they are unable to answer, THEN you may come ask me or the co-teacher.

  4. When somebody in the classroom has permission to speak, YOU: • ARE QUIET • HAVE ALL ATTENTION ON THAT PERSON • RESPECT THAT PERSON

  5. When the teacher needs the attention of the class: STOP what you are doing, clap along, and hold up time out sign. Then listen for directions!

  6. Everything in the provided supply boxes, on your table, belong to Mrs.Percifull. Use these items with respect. Theft or destruction of classroom property is against school rules and you will be punished appropriately! You WILL get caught! BE RESPONSIBLE!

  7. COMPLETED WORK Completed work: IN tray Work in progress: OUT tray (Projects with little pieces will go in folder.) Folders and journals will ALWAYS REMAIN IN THE CLASSROOM. CORRECTIONS!!!! All work below a 70 may be corrected and turned-in for a passing grade. Never erase your current work! Do corrections in a different color OR on another piece of paper. All corrected papers will be placed in the “CORRECTIONS” folder. Your failing grade will be changed to a 70, and work will be returned to you.

  8. TIME TO SWITCH! • When the bell rings, you will remain in your seat until dismissed by the teacher! • The class will not exit the room until the room is CLEAN! • desks are straight • trash picked up • supplies are where they belong • folders are returned to folder bins • belongings are stacked

  9. Backpacks are NOT allowed in the classroom. Unpack them at the beginning of the day and LEAVE THEM IN YOUR LOCKER.

  10. All work is to be done neatly! Always make sure to put a heading in the top right-hand corner of each assignment. ALL SLOPPY WORK WILL BE RETURNED AND REQUIRED TO BE REDONE. Any assignment turned-in without a name or found on the floor will be thrown away!!!

  11. Bring all supplies to class daily: • agenda • pencil • notebook paper • library book • binder This is NOT a choice! TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ON AN EASY TASK!

  12. Z.A.P If you fail to turn in homework you will be assigned ZAP (Zeros Aren’t Permitted). This is a P.M. tutorial on Monday and Thursday that lasts from 4:00-5:45 p.m. Your parents will be notified and you can either have them pick you up or ride the activity bus home.

  13. If you need to leave the room for ANY REASON you MUST have your agenda. This will be your hall pass for the entire year, and for ALL classes! SCHOOL POLICY YOU MUST ALWAYS HAVE PERMISSION TO LEAVE THE CLASSROOM No Agenda= NO EXIT

  14. You are asked to follow all school rules. Mrs. Percifull’s Classroom rules are as follows: • Respect yourself • Respect others • Be Responsible You will create your very own class contract next week!
