In today's bellwork, students will examine four significant scenes from Roman history, depicted in accompanying images. Each student is tasked with writing 2-3 descriptive sentences about each picture, which can later aid in their understanding of "Once Upon the Tiber" notes. This activity not only fosters descriptive writing but also deepens comprehension of historical figures and events, including the legendary battles of the Horatii and Curiatii, and the reigns of early Roman kings.
