  2. Common Sense Rules • You guys have been in the system for over a decade. You know the rules; if it applies in the school, it applies in here.

  3. My rule #1 • Ask questions – • About the Latin language • About any language • About Rome or history • About grammar • About anything in class that you don’t understand

  4. My rule # 2 • You’ve gotta practice – this means: • Study, make flash cards, MAKE TIME • Do your homework. I don’t give busy work. • Memorize • Ask questions when confused

  5. My rule # 3 • Put the phone away.

  6. My rule # 4 • Pee on your own time. • You get three passes per marking period.

  7. My rule # 5 • No excuses! • Assignments are due when they are due. If you miss a day, get the assignments from a friend or check online. • You have 5 days to make up missed work. I will not remind you. • I do not accept late homework.

  8. Vocabulary & Grammar • Daily • Vocabulary test each Monday, Tuesday if there’s a holiday.

  9. Contact info & Grading • Let’s take a look at your syllabus!
