  1. Nobel Peace Prize Nomination Team Joy

  2. Team Joy has the pleasure of nominating an organization for the Nobel Peace Prize. We have decided, after much thought, that an organization deserving the Nobel Peace Prize has to care about freedom, peace, and the future of humanity. Children are our future; therefore we cannot think of a more deserving organization than: FREE THE CHILDREN

  3. Free the Children is an international organization in whichchildren can help other childrenby representing them, being leaders, andtaking action. It is dedicated to eradicating the exploitation of children all over the world, creating programs like the “Take a Stand Toward Peace” campaign, raising the awareness while 'standing' up for the rights of war-affected children, and “War is not a Game” campaign. Raising funds for schoolbooks, a chance for an education, and other things for children in war-torn places. This organization believes that children have rights and wants to ensure that these rights are recognized.

  4. History Free the Children was founded in 1995 by a 12-year-old named Craig Kielburger. He and 11 school friends started fighting against child labor. Craig Kielburger Craig Kielburger decided to start fighting for children's rights when he saw, in a newspaper, the picture of a 12-year-old boy (boy with the red vest), just like him, that had been sold, at the age of four into child labor and had been recently murdered for defending kids rights.

  5. Currently it is the largest program of children helping children through education in the world. It has more than one million young people involved in 45 countries.

  6. Free the children fights: Child Poverty Children’s Rights Putting an END to Child Labour Helping War-Affected Children Sexual EXPLOITATION Education

  7. We respectfully, and humbly, recommend to you that this organization be recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize of 2005-6. Free the Children has been fighting to protect our children, our future, and it will keep doing so until no child has to work or die of hunger. Thank-you, Team Joy
