Trace Decay. Various theorists assumed that there is a memory trace for all encoded information. This trace decays with time. If the trace falls below a certain threshold value, the information is forgotten.

  1. Trace Decay Various theorists assumed that there is a memory trace for all encoded information. This trace decays with time. If the trace falls below a certain threshold value, the information is forgotten.
