This division provides assistance to strengthen administrative capabilities of minority-serving institutions, such as Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, and Tribally-Controlled Colleges. Services include assessments, staff training, technical assistance, on-campus visits, and management consultations.

Minority-Serving and Under-Resourced School Division • Unit was created in response to a series of Presidential Executive Orders • Provide assistance to strengthen the administrative capabilities of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Tribally- Controlled Colleges, Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions, and Predominately Black Institutions.
Minority-Serving Institutions Profile *Thirty-three percent (33%) of Title IV aid disbursed
Minority-Serving and Under-Resourced School Division • Expand opportunities for these institutions to participate in Federal Programs • Proactively identify the unique service needs of HBCU’s, HSI’s, TCU’s, PBI’s, AANAPISI’s,andANNH’s as it relates to the management of the Title IV programs • Provide the assistance required to ensure continued participation in the Title IV programs which the institution has chosen to participate
