Create Your Personal Homepage Using Dreamweaver

This assignment involves designing and building your personal homepage using Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop. You will sign up for a free web account on Geocities and create a homepage (index.html) along with at least two linked pages (page1.html, page2.html). All HTML files and images should be saved in the same folder and uploaded to your web account. Ensure all links work and preview your homepage before submission. Assignment #6 Assigned 1/19/05, Due 1/25/05, Review 2/2/05 • Sign up for a free web (not email) account at http://geocities.yahoo.com • Use your “ID” (0246xxx) as your username to log in • Your homepage address (URL) will be like this: http://www.geocities.com/0246xxx/ • Design and build your personal homepage • Use Macromedia Dreamweaver to design the pages and Adobe Photoshop to edit any graphics and images • Must have a homepage (index.html) and at least two additional pages that are linked from the homepage (i.e., page1.html, page2.html) • Save all html files and images used in any of the html files under the same folder • Upload your html files (xxx.html) and images (.jpg, .gif, .png, etc.) to your web account directory (same folder) • Preview what your homepage looks like and make sure all links work! • Submit your homepage as a link (URL) and post it at the course website • Postyour URL (http://www.geocities.com/0246xxx/) in the “assignment #6” directoryunder the “student exchange” webboard • Due Sunday 25th January 2005 12pm
