  2. Definition"Interprofessional Education occurs when two or more professions learn with, from and about each other to improve collaboration and the quality of care“ CAIPE 2002 CAIPE is the UK based Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education

NES Connects An evolving network in NHS Education for Scotland where practitioners who have received funding or support from NHS Education for Scotland continue to benefit from engaging with a national organisation. The network also contributes to NHS Scotland by continue to benefit from the investment in individuals educational development.

  4. Participants of NES leadership and management programmes • Finance and management (Management Training Scheme) • Nursing and midwifery (Early Clinical Careers Fellowships) • Allied health professionals (AHP Fellowships) • Medical staff (Leadership and Management Practice)

  5. Planned Outcomes: In the context of the 2020 Workforce Vision, • ensure that everyone is clear about the values and behaviours expected of them; • empower teams and individuals to innovate and make things better; • support the creation of a culture of interprofessional learning.
