  3. WHY? • Why are less than 4% of Christians engaged in sharing the greatest news ever given to man?

  4. The concerns expressed are: • I’m afraid! • I won’t be able to answer objections! • I can’t memorize a presentation! • I never have the opportunity to share!

  5. The concerns expressed are: • I’m just not a confrontational person! • I don’t have the gift of evangelism! • I don’t know how to start the conversation!

  7. The Advantages ofSPLASH • Capture ordinary moments of daily life for SPLASHing. • See needs as a platform for sharing. • Utilizes multiple SPLASHes and thus creates a team approach. • Allows you to share naturally with friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

What Will I Learn? • Week One: “SHOW” • You will have the wonderful opportunity to learn how Jesus had the unique ability to show the gospel. • Jesus never lacked for an audience. • People would do strange things just to get near him. • Jesus always demonstrated the gospel before He articulated it.

  9. What Will I Learn? • Week Two “PEOPLE” • You will learn how Jesus connected with people. • He met people on their level. • He met them at their point of need. • You will select a SEP and identify people in your SPLASH zones.

  10. What Will I Learn? • Week Three: “LOVE” • You will learn how Jesus demonstrated his love. • Jesus not only met people at the point of their need but he immediately met that need with no strings attached. • Begin to develop loving actions for someone in your SPLASH zone.

  11. What Will I Learn? • Week Four: “AND” • You will learn how Jesus made the transition from showing the gospel to sharing the gospel. • From meeting a social need to meeting a spiritual need. • If Jesus always added verbal explanation to visible illustration, we must follow His example.

  12. What Will I Learn? • Week Five: “SHARE” • Jesus shared Himself not a presentation. • People have rejected religion not a relationship with God. • Learn how to use everyday events to Share Jesus.

  13. What Will I Learn? • Week Six: “HIM” • Learn how to demonstrate and articulate the meaning of personal relationship with Christ • The key is your “current” story plus Scripture told in the power of the Holy Spirit • Your witness has the power of leaven • God’s Word never returns void.

  14. What Will I Need to Do? • Purchase a book. • Read and complete weekly action plans. • Attend weekly sessions. • Ask the Holy Spirit to place someone in your life that that you can “SPLASH”.
