Leave, then Time • All staff will submit leave requests • Only BW staff will submit timesheets • For the Pilot Group, we are working on BW leave and time only (Monthly leave requests will start late 2010) • Both leave, then time, are routed to and approved by supervisors separately • Leave requests load on to timesheet APPROVED

  4. Leave Request Process Approved leave loads to timesheet Supervisor Employee OR DENIED

  5. Demonstration Scenario: Today is 9/20. Biweekly employee, Ms. Scarlet Ann Gray, submits a leave request for 9/17, then submits a timesheet for the week of 9/12. Steps:1. Employee requests leave • Supervisor approves leave request • Leave request populates on timesheet • Employee submits timesheet • Supervisor approves timesheet • Information loads in to PeopleSoft and Employee is Paid

Summary APPROVED • Approved timesheet = Paycheck • BW Employee submits leave, then time • Leave and Time are approved separately by supervisor • Approved Leave loads on to timesheet • Approved timesheets load into PeopleSoft to be paid • Approved Monthly leave requests load directly into PeopleSoft to debit leave balance
