  1. Title (font 76-96 this =80) Authors (font 48-60, about 26 less than title, this = 54) Institutions (font = authors, or 6 less if space needed to fit, this =54 Your Mentor Institution Logo Here Overview (Headings font 38-50, this=44) The text here = Abstract text. It is OK that your abstract text here is different from the first abstract you sent to the abstract booklet, especially if you have new data / edits / changes. Recommended font = 28-40 or about 10pt smaller than headings. This = 34. Headings are centered but the text here is ‘’justified’’ giving it a boxy appearance 150 words of abstract text here is adequate. 275 max. • Methods • Simple, exact • Equipment/analysis tools • Discussion/ Conclusion • Analyze data; tell us the significance of your results • Relate data back to project objectives • Limitations • Future work • Introduction & Objective • (you can also separate boxes: for intro + other box for objective) • Introduction • Define all terms • Include only relevant background info • Objective • Purpose of project? • Why would the audience care about your project? • (as you need space, you can change font sizes for each text box but try to have fonts be within 6 points of each other. This = 32). Try expanding or narrowing boxes to make things fit. At end, make sure all looks nice! Your Section Heading here! Depending on what your project was, you may need to insert a few extra headings, or change around some of the other oens. This template is just a ‘’starter kit’’ for the beginner. Please talk with your mentor about what other Headings may be needed here. Possible options: Literature review References to other work cited in this poster or study Anything else your lab wants you to add • Results • Figures and pictures work best • Only data, not analysis Other Optional Heading here! This = 26)
