Cape Status • SSS Installation • Installation will be at Astrotech • Task is a payload support function; not a liability issue • Procedure (DCI) is written and in the review process • Date is under review: THEMIS requests the week of 18 Dec, but Boeing may not be ready until after the 3rd of Jan. See schedule • Later date needs real time coordination in parallel with THEMIS fueling activities in the HPF • The SSS installation is planned for a separate bay so that mechanical operations will be de-conflicted

KSC Fueling Team Status • Procedures: • THEMIS-specific deviations to OMI’s E5534 & E5502 are complete & under final review prior to obtaining signatures • OMI E5535 off-load procedure & pre-planned THEMIS-specific deviations will be available if required • ICD “Appx. C” is complete • MSPSP - Fueling GSE portion is complete • All GSE will be in-calibration at the time of use • Schedule: • Mobilize to Astrotech and set up GSE week of Dec 11 • Connect to spacecraft ~ Jan 3 • Prop load Jan 4 • Prop Loading Team is GO for THEMIS shipment

KSC Badging & Training Status • SLC-17 Badging & Training • 41 THEMIS personnel identified for unescorted access to SLC-17 • 36 have good NAC/PRP; 5 are In Process • 5 THEMIS personnel identified for SCAPE operations. • 4 have completed SCAPE training; 1 person remaining • Open items: • Required training: ELSA, CCAFS Safety and SLC-17 walk downs to be scheduled post spacecraft arrival. • Schedule SCAPE training for one remaining person • AF Form 2856s have been completed and submitted to me. They will be submitted to Pass & ID about 1 month prior to required pad access. • Air Force Badging once prerequisites have been completed. • Launch Site Planning Readiness Statement: • Plans are in place to complete remaining open items. • KSC Badging & Training is ready for THEMIS flight hardware arrival.

Readiness Statement • NASA/KSC Safety and Mission Assurance, Launch Services Division has assessed the readiness of the THEMIS spacecraft for NASA at Astrotech, and has no constraints to the arrival of the Spacecraft. - Any open items or issues are being tracked via the Verification Tracking Log (VTL).
