Why is Florence famous? • She was famous for being an excellent nurse because she looked after the sick soldiers. • If Florence nightingale was not at the hospital the sick soldiers might have got more ill. • She was called lade With the lamp because she carried a lamp.   4. What events happened in her life? • Florence nightingale went to the Crimea in 1853. • She went to the Crimea in a boat. • She got some very special medals because she improved the soldiers. • She was a good nurse. She was born in 1820 and she died in 1910. Florence’s medals that she got

  5. What was Florence’s journey to war like? • Her journey to war lasted days and weeks to get there. • Florence went on a boat and she made it clean. • When she was on the land she went in a cart. The old boat that she travelled in
