  1. Introduction Cataract Surgery In India www.healthprice.in www.healthprice.in

  2. Cataract Surgery A cataract is a dense, cloudy area that forms in the lens of the eye. A cataract begins when proteins in the eye form clumps that prevent the lens from sending clear images to the retina. The retina works by converting the light that comes through the lens into signals. It sends the signals to the optic nerve, which leads them to the brain. It develops slowly and interferes with your vision. You can get affected by cataracts in both eyes, but they usually don’t form at the same time. Cataracts are common in older people. www.healthprice.in

  3. Cataract Surgery Procedure Most modern cataract procedures involve the use of a high-frequency ultrasound device that breaks the cloudy lens into small pieces, which are later removed from the eye. This procedure is called phacoemulsification and can be performed with smaller incisions, promoting faster healing and reducing the risk of cataract surgery problem. www.healthprice.in

  4. After all remnants of the cloudy lens have been removed from your eye, the surgeon inserts a clear intraocular lens(IOL), adjusting it securely behind the iris and pupil. The surgeon then completes the cataract removal by closing the incision in your eye, and a protective shield is placed over the eye to keep it safe in the early stages of your cataract surgery recovery. Cataract surgery often takes about 10 minutes to perform. But immediately after the surgery, you will need to rest. Normally this takes about 30 minutes to an hour. www.healthprice.in

  9. You'll have to wear a pair of sunglasses to protect your eye from bright light and glare. If you are sleepy or tired when you go home, you might want to rest for a few hours. Depending on the doctor's advice, you may be able to remove the protective shield placed over your eye within few hours after the procedure. Just remember that you will need to tape the shield back over your eye at night or during sleep, for protection while you recover from cataract surgery, at least for few days.
