  22. DEFENSIVE EVASION #3 • WITHDRAWAL- putting my head in the sand and denying there are any problems.

  24. OFFENSIVE EVASION #1 • MASKS-trying to cover up what I fear is a big nothing with a phony façade.

  25. OFFENSIVE EVASION #2 • COMPETITION- purchasing approval & respect from the OUTSIDE to compensate for LACK of approval on the INSIDE……. $

Essay homework (10 points) due Thursday FRIDAY • 1 page min. 2 page max- must be typed • Describe a event, or decision in your life when you avoided or achieved SELF RESPECT by using or not using one of the offensive or defensive evasions of self respect. or • Describe all the things you “hate” about yourself and find difficult to accept. Discuss ways to face them, accept them and move on.
