  1. Imagecast (10.7) upgrade New Features

  2. Imagecast 10.7 • New Appearance • Familiar Workflow • Cross functionality - allows users to access more applications from the Tech Worklist and Complete screens.

  3. Enter/Edit Exams Entering exams workflow has not changed. You may still access the Clinical information, Exams List and the Enter/Edit screen by clicking the blue hyperlinks. Additional features have been added: • Patient Banner - new look that allows fields, such as MRN, to be hi-lighted. • Signs & Symptoms, History and Comments fields are now larger to view more of the information without scrolling • New Stat Reading selection – activated in Imagecast only (by Scheduler or Technologist). The Stat Reading indictor will not be activated by Wiz or be available in Impax. • Allergies – now activates a new indicator on the Technologist Worklist. Allergy data is not received from Star Panel or Wiz.

Enter/Edit Exams (cont) New Patient Banner Field (MRN) hi-lights • The Allergy data IS NOT FROM STAR NOR WIZ.  There is not a feed for allergy data.  What is present in Imagecast is from someone typing it into Imagecast, not from the source of allergy data (StarPanel). Please verify in other sources for allergy information. Allergies - indicator activates on Tech Worklist

  5. Enter/Edit Exams (cont) Larger Text Fields The Stat Reading indicator will not be available in Impax. The Stat Reading indicator will not come from Wiz orders. It must be activated within Imagecast by the Scheduler/PSR or Technologist. Stat Reading indicator

  6. Technologist Worklist New Stat Reading indicator -activated in Imagecast only (by Scheduler or Technologist). The Stat Reading indictor will not be activated by Wiz or be available in Impax. The Primary Filters, Refresh rate, and Rows/Page settings will now follow the User ID upon logoff. The Performing Resources settings will still remain set to the computer station. New Allergy indicator – activated when allergies are added for that patient in Imagecast. The Allergy data is NOT from STAR nor WIZ and will need to be verified in other sources, such as Star Panel. You can now Cancel an exam from the Technologist Worklist instead of navigating to the Scheduling module (tab). You can now easily print requests for one or multiple patients /exams from the Technologist Worklist page. Select the patients/exams by checking the box to the left and click the Print button to open the IDX printer dialogue box.

  7. Completing Exams- Technologist Worklist The Complete window has changed. Once the exam has been chosen from the Technologist Worklist to be completed, the complete window will allow you to: • Edit Exam information • Add additional exams to the Complete Exams List • Apply the tracking information to all exams in the Complete Exams List • Complete all exams in the Complete Exams List in unison (click the Save button once).

Completing Exams Complete Exams List You must enter a Provider (Technologist) and Pregnancy status (if required) to access any of the Complete Exam functions. • The Complete Exams List displays the exams to be completed. • Click an exam in the list to display/edit the completing information. • Add exams to complete by clicking <click to add new row> The Complete button has been replaced by the Save button. Click the Save button to complete all exams in the Complete Exams List. (Click the Cancel button or after clicking the Save button to close the window.) Use the Edit Exam tab to edit the exam information. The exam code will still need to be edited in the Exam field (Tracking tab).

  9. Cancel Exams • You may still cancel exams from the Scheduling module as before. • You may now cancel exams from the Technologist Worklist • The new Cancel Exams screen allows you to cancel multiple exams (for the same patient) at once.

  10. Cancel Exams (cont) Cancel Exams List Similar to the Complete Screen, you may add additional exams (on the same patient) to cancel by selecting <click to add new row> and choosing the additional exams. Enter the Reason: and Authorized By: information. There is a new Comments: field that allows free text for additional information. Click OK to cancel all exams in the Cancel Exams List The Save button replaces the Cancel Exam button. Click Save to activate the Reason for Cancel dialogue box. This information will apply to all exams in the Cancel Exams List.
