  6. The Normans Another fine Butler or Ormonde castle can be seen in Carrick on Suir on the River Suir Ormonde Castle – Carrick on Suir Cahir Castle – Co Tipperary

  8. Monks Jerpoint Abbey is now a ruin, rumoured to be destroyed by Oliver Cromwell in the 1650’s Duiske Abbey still serves as the parish church in Graignamanagh
