Life by the Reef: A Unique Perspective from Ahipara

In a special place where the tide shapes daily life, I navigate the ebb and flow of the sea. My community thrives on the reef, collecting seaweed and finding treasures like paua while navigating the changing sands. As I prepare to start school in Ahipara, I wonder how my experiences will fit into this new world. My knowledge and language might differ, but I carry my unique alphabet written in seaweed and sea. How can we bridge our worlds and learn from one another?
