  3. - Evidence of Evolution Kaibab and Abert’s Squirrels • Less than 10,000 years ago environmental separated these squirrels. These two kinds of squirrels have been isolated from one another for a long time. Eventually this isolation may result in two different species. This is geographical isolation,

  4. Snowshoe hares experience a change in fur color from white in the winter to brown in the summer. If these hares lived in a warm climate year round for many generations they could slowly mutate to have brown fur all year long.

  5. Snowshoe hares have large, furry hind legs this is evidence of species variation due to climate. {It helps them in the snow}

  6. Leopard frogs are and example of Speciation due to Geographic isolation.

  7. Australia is isolated because it is an island. This may best explain why there is a large number of unique organisms that are found nowhere else on Earth.
