What the ED’s said January 2005, Executive Director Focus Group on “What keeps you awake at night regarding technology?” • Volunteers run technology in over half – unstable situation • Training and maintenance are critical and under-funded which results in episodic, not smooth operations • Lack of access to/confidence in mission critical data • General lack of control over processes and procedures

  15. Example: Tech Requirements • What do you FORCE your staff to do? • The hardest thing to make funders understand is you need more than just the computer, you need knowledgable people to run them. • The thing about tech is there is so MUCH to think about…electrical outlets!
