  1. Reporting Component Updates RNI 3.1 SP1 C-PAMI-WGE-0006-01

  2. Review changes to the RNI Reporting Component features and functions for the RNI 3.1 SP1 release. The goal for this module is to: Module Goals

  3. Identify common parameters used in all or most reports. • Filter meters by their logical state for a given report. • Identify the reports which support ESM reads.

  4. About the RNI Reporting Component Introduction Generates an output file for export to an MDM or billing application • Does not generate the reports created and viewed from the Reports tab in the FlexWare web interface (e.g. Meter Report, Outage Report, Installed Meters, Communication Statistics, etc.) Creates reports in CMEP, HHF, and Itron export file formats Scheduler application contains jobs that run the reports Can also run jobs via command line interface Can be run in Tracked or non-Tracked mode

  5. Summary of Reporting Changes Reporting Component Updates Parameters are standardized across nearly all reports Now able to filter report data by the logical state parameter Enhanced Supervisory Messaging (ESM) reads are supported

  6. Parameter Standardization Reporting Component Updates Parameters used in more than one report now have common name • CustomerID, ReportType on all reports • AdHoc, IgnoreLifeCycleState, IgnoreLogicalState on most reports Each report still has its own set of report-specific parameters

  7. Parameters Common to All Reports Reporting Component Updates

  8. Filtering Reported Meter Data by Logical State Reporting Component Updates Use the IgnoreLogicalState parameter to filter reported data by logical state If set to False, only meters with logical state ‘Active’ are included. If set to True, all meters regardless of their logical state are included. Only applicable when AdHoc parameter is also set to True.

  9. Reports that Support Logical State Filtering Reporting Component Updates ReadReport IntervalReport LoadProfileIntervalReport SelfReadReport TimeOfUseReport AlarmReport MeterSyncReport IconALoadProfileIntervalPreHHFReport LoadProfileIntervalPreHHFReport RegisterReadpreHHFReport PowerOutageReport

  10. Reporting ESM Meter Read Data Reporting Component Updates Collected ESM data is now available from the following reports: • LoadProfileIntervalReport • SelfReadReport • BackfillReport Set the ReportType parameter to ESM

  11. Which of the following parameters are common to all reports in the Reporting Component?

  12. Which one of the following reports supports filtering by the logical state of the meter? • SystemHealthReport • BackfillReport • LoadProfileIntervalReport • ItronMeterReadingReport

  13. IgnoreLogicalState • _____________________is the parameter used to filter reported meter data by the logical state of the meter.

  14. Which parameter do you use to report collected ESM data? • ReportType • ReadType • ESM • None of the above

  15. Which two of the following reports can be used to view ESM data? • IntervalReport • LoadProfileIntervalReport • TimeOfUseReport • BackfillReport
