  2. Enrolment Fall 2013 • Regular day students • 8 246 students registered as of today • After September 20, should settle at about 8 139 • Continuing Education students • 2 254 students (still missing on-site registration) • Increase close to 10%

  3. Record # of graduates 2012-2013 • In June 2013, a total of 2,796Dawson students graduated [combined total from Summer, Fall 2012 & Winter 2013] • Largest graduating class in Dawson’s history

  4. Student Satisfaction Survey 1. Overall College Satisfaction There have been significant improvements in satisfaction over time for all sectors.

  5. Student Satisfaction Survey 1. Overall College Satisfaction Since 2001 the number of the eighty-four items having a mean equal to or above 5.00 has nearly doubled, and the number at or above 5.50 has more than tripled.

  6. Student Satisfaction Survey 2. Satisfaction with Instructional Effectiveness (IE) The average satisfaction on the Instructional Effective Scale (consisting of 14 items) has shown steady improvement since 2001, and is now significantly above that of the Canadian comparison group.

  7. Student Satisfaction Survey 3. Quality of Instruction In 2013, Item 18 on the Instructional Effectiveness scale (The quality of instruction I receive in most of my classes is excellent) had a satisfaction average comparable to the Canadian comparison group

  8. Student Satisfaction Survey 4. Largest Gains in Satisfaction Of the ten items with the largest gains since 2009, 2 related to teaching (80 & 18), 2 to computer and equipment labs (34 & 42) and 3 related to registration issues (43, 35 &5).

Major investment in renovations and equipment • Over $4.3 million invested in renovations and transformation of our facilities • Chemistry labs $2.5 million • Equipment upgrade in Medical Laboratories Technology and Radiology $500 000 • 3040 Sherbrookeentrance $533 000 • Elevators upgrade $230 000
