  3. CULTURE 2007 3 objectives of the programme • Promotion of the transnational mobility of people working in the cultural field • Encouragement of the transnational circulation of works and cultural and artistic products • Encouragement of intercultural dialogue

CULTURE 2007 3 strands • Suport for cultural projects • cooperation focal points (multi-annual projects) • cooperation measures (annual projects) • special actions • Operating grants a) Support for the operation of organisations of European cultural interest b) Support for action for the preservation and commemoration of the main sites and archives associated with the doportations 3. Support for analyses and for the collection and dissemination of information in the field of cultural cooperation

CULTURE 2007 Strand 1: a) Cooperation focal points • Support for 5 years during start-up and structuring phase, aim: establishment of sustainable foundations and financial autonomy • min. 6 cultural operators from 6 different participating countries • Community support: max. 50% (€ 500.000/ year) • 36% of the total budget

  7. CULTURE 2007 Strand 1: b) Cooperation measures • Support max. 12 months • min. 4 cultural operators from 3 different participating countries • Community support: max. 50% (mind. € 60.000 – max. € 200.000) • 24% of the total budget

  8. CULTURE 2007 Strand 1: c) Special projects • Substantial in scale and scope • Awarding of prices, European Capitals of Culture, cooperation projects with 3rd countries and international organisations • Community support: max. 60% • 17% of the total budget

  9. CULTURE 2007 Strand 2: Operating grants • Support for the operation of organisations of European cultural interest • Bodies working for cultural cooperation/ ambassadors for European culture • European dimension: min. 7 countries • Community support: max. 80% • ca. 10% of the total budget

CULTURE 2007 Strand 3: Analyses and Information • Support for studies and analyses in the field of cultural cooperation • Support for collection and dissemination of information via the development of an Internet tool • Support for the Cultural Contact Points (CCPs) • ca. 5% of the total budget
