  6. Capital Structure

  7. Victoria JV (Joint Venture with Hochschild Mining) (covers the Vaquillas Mine Prospect)

  8. Victoria JV JV with Hochschild covering 45,000 ha • Located along one of the world’s preeminent porphyry copper belts – the Domeyko Fault Zone – part of the prolific Eocene-Oligocene metallogenic belt of northern Chile • 37Km of continuous strike length of prospective belt • Situated approximately midway between the Escondida and Salvador porphyry copper districts • Multiple epithermal precious metals and porphyry copper targets • Key target is the Vaquillas Mine Au-Ag prospect

  9. Targets • Precious metals targets at: • Vaquillas Mine area • NueveVidas • VetasNegras • Victoria • Porphyry copper targets at: • Vaquillas Mine area • Incahuasi • Cenizas • Chaco • Azul Profundo • VetasNegrasOeste • Other subsidiary targets being investigated

  10. JV Details • Hochschild can earn a 60% interest by spending $6M on exploration • Hochschild drilling totals to date (2009-2010) 16,975m RC and 715m DDH • Includes Vaquillas Mine area drilling • Exploration ongoing • New round of drilling initiated at Vaquillas Mine (5,000m DDH) • New round of drilling shortly to commence on district targets (3,000m RC)

  11. Vaquillas Mine Target • Gold/silver zone >1 km along strike and open to the north and south • Prospective for both bulk-tonnage gold/silver and high-grade gold/silver veins • Historic mining from small open pit on mineralized breccias, and small-scale underground workings on cross-cutting high-grade veins • 34 holes completed by Hochschild totaling 9,598 meters (8,883m RC + 715m DDH) • Further drilling currently underway (5,000m of DDH planned)

  12. Vaquillas Mine Target • Best results from Hochschild drill holes to date include: The intercepts reported are the length of the drill core intersection as the true orientation of the mineralization remains to be fully established. Intercepts were averaged using a 0.2 g/t Au cut-off and/or a 12 g/t Ag cut-off. Less than 1% of internal intercepts were accepted below the cut off grades and no capping was used in the calculations. • NB: Recent diamond drilling suggests earlier RC drilling may be understating Au & Ag grades. Diamond hole VVQDD-10-32 twinned VVQRC-09-17 & returned 102m @ 0.9g/t Au + 57g/t Ag, compared to the RC intercept of 102m @ 0.44g/t Au + 37g/t Ag. Further diamond drill hole twins are planned by Hochschild to check this conclusion.

  13. Pampa Buenos Aires JV (Joint Venture with Andina Minerals)

  14. Pampa Buenos Aires JV • 50:50 JV with Andina Minerals (27,000 ha) • Located along the prospective Dominador Fault Zone • part of the prolific Palaeocene metallogenic belt of northern Chile and southern Peru • Situated immediately south of the El Peñon and Fortuna precious metals district • Epithermal precious metals and porphyry copper potential • Multiple targets

  15. Pampa Buenos Aires JV • Large covered pampas • Surface geochemistry, float mapping and geophysics are main exploration tools • Cerro Buenos Aires – prospective for low sulphidation gold and silver • Cerro Blanco – prospective for porphyry copper and gold • Initial drilling completed; additional targeting ongoing • Significant surface geochemical sampling program underway

  16. Pampa Sur (100% IRN)

  17. Pampa Sur 100% IRN • Highly prospective ground (11,300 ha) contiguous with and located immediately south of the Pampa Buenos Aires project • Prospective for epithermal precious metals mineralization and possibly porphyry copper mineralization • Work completed to date includes surface geochemical and ground magnetic surveys • Initial targets being ranked and prioritized • Looking to JV

  18. Regional Program • Generative • Exploration and acquisition program for low sulfidation, precious metals deposits • Targeting the Dominador Fault Zone along the Paleocene Belt within northern Chile between Sierra Gorda and Sierra Overa • Early stage ideas to be assessed, acquired and joint ventured • Magallanes (Suerte) • 100% owned (52 ha); prospective for high grade gold and silver veins

  19. Projects’ Outlook • 5,000m diamond drilling program at Vaquillas Mine, Victoria Project JV • Expected completion November 2010 • Assay results expected December 2010 • 3,000m RC drilling program on exploration targets, Victoria Project JV • Initiation planned for September 2010 • Expected completion November 2010 • Assay results expected December 2010 • Surface geochemical sampling program at Pampa Buenos Aires Project JV • Assay results expected during October 2010 • Targeting and drilling plans during November 2010 • Targeting and prioritization of geophysical and geochemical anomalies at Pampa Sur • September 2010
