  1. Device Holder: Patient Nurse Home screen shows the list of patients that are taken care by the patient nurse.

  2. Device Holder: Charge Nurse Charge nurse monitors all the on-going emergencies, and the Home screen shows the list of emergencies that are currently going on.

  3. Scenario 1: Nurse Available to Check and Treat Device Holder: Patient Nurse When the central monitor informs the patient nurse of a potential emergency, the screen pops up displaying the patient name and room number, with the emergency signal flashing.

  4. Scenario 1: Nurse Available to Check and Treat Device Holder: Patient Nurse The patient nurse reacts to the message by tapping on this button

  5. Scenario 1: Nurse Available to Check and Treat Device Holder: Patient Nurse If the patient nurse reacts to the emergency message, the patient vital signs will be immediately displayed on the screen.

  6. Scenario 1: Nurse Available to Check and Treat Device Holder: Patient Nurse Patient location Make a response The nurse can either check the location of the patient, or make a response immediately.

  7. Scenario 1: Nurse Available to Check and Treat Device Holder: Patient Nurse Go back and make a response If the patient nurse checks the patient location, the floor plan of the working area of the patient nurse will be displayed, with the patient and the nurse’s position included.

The red indicates that a team is required to treat the emergency, the yellow indicates the patient nurse can treat the emergency independently, and the grey indicates the nurse has either ignored the message or is not able to check or treat.

  13. Scenario 1: Nurse Available to Check and Treat The patient nurse clicks on John Doe’s emergency message to get more details. Device Holder: Charge Nurse

  14. Scenario 1: Nurse Available to Check and Treat Once the emergency has been taken care of, It is removed from the emergency feed automatically. Device Holder: Charge Nurse

  15. Scenario 2: Nurse Not Available to Check or Treat Option-1 Device Holder: Patient Nurse The nurse dismisses the message by clicking the hardware button at the bottom right of the device

  16. Scenario 2: Nurse Not Available to Check or Treat Option-2 Device Holder: Patient Nurse The patient nurse requests for someone else to check by tapping on the button.

  17. Scenario 2: Nurse Not Available to Check or Treat Option-3 Device Holder: Patient Nurse The patient nurse requests for someone else to treat by tapping on the button.

  18. Scenario 2: Nurse Not Available to Check or Treat Device Holder: Charge Nurse The charge nurse checks the unresolved emergency case by tapping on Colin Oscopy’s emergency message.

  20. Scenario 2: Nurse Not Available to Check or Treat Device Holder: Charge Nurse A list of potentially available nurses pops up and the charge nurse makes the assignment.

  21. Scenario 2: Nurse Not Available to Check or Treat Device Holder: Charge Nurse Now the emergency message is forwarded to the assigned nurse (Ms. Louie Z. Ana).

  22. Scenario 2: Nurse Not Available to Check or Treat Device Holder: Charge Nurse The emergency feed is updated after the nurse assignment has been accepted.
