Converting Applicants to Enrolled Students Goal:Increase applicant to enrolled yield • Welcome letter from Provost • Follow-up letter from Dean (2 weeks) • Information letters including: - Financial Aid - Testing/Educational Planning - Helpful Hints (How to choose classes, etc.) - Student activities, clubs & Intramurals

  5. Educational Planning Initial Point of Student Engagement Goal: Reduce first term attrition rates, increase success and encourage student engagement Emphasize/explore barriers to success • Emphasize Class/course sequencing • Encourage reducing # hours • Encourage career exploration
