A newspaper from Allah Began publication in 1961 First publication issued entitled Some of this Earth to Call Our Own or Else Distributed all over the country by NOI members, sold door to door, on some newsstands in major cities, and in temples covered current events, news in Black communities, and especially the Nation of Islam itself

  3. Controversy Although Malcolm claims to have started “Muhammad Speaks” it has not been confirmed The Nation of Islam now states that Malcolm helped create a different newspaper sold in New York city entitled “Mr. Muhammad” Speaks

  4. What Happened? Elijah Muhammad’s son took over the newspaper, but renamed it Bilalian News in 1975 (named after 1st African follower of Muhammad) Became Muslim Journal in 1981 Many similar magazines created to follow Muhammad Speaks including “Final Call” and “Muhammad Speaks” in Detroit available today New online versions of the newspaper are available
