Summary - Coaching Cards • essential if the practice is to be effectively coached • provide a format to record: • the firer’s declaration • the Coach’s observations • the order of arrival and position of each shot • the score, if applicable • points for subsequent discussion • information for subsequent transfer to the Unit Shooting Record ACP 61C Lesson 9

Unit Shooting Record • allows each cadet’s performance to be monitored: • gives an overall picture of development within the unit • highlights areas where further training may be required • information on consistency, or otherwise, of performance of individuals for selection purposes ACP 61C Lesson 9
