The IEEE Central Texas Section held a Spring Planning Meeting on January 25, 2014, in San Marcos, TX. During the meeting, attendees reviewed and revised the Workshop Policy and Procedures from the September 2013 meeting. Key developments included the recruitment of ICICDT 2014 to Austin and support for various local events such as ESD Workshop, ISPCE, and GlobalSIP. Looking ahead to 2014 and beyond, the Conference Coordinator aims to assist all IEEE conferences and workshops in Central Texas, ensuring proposals align with chapter objectives and seeking to recruit international IEEE conferences.
