Enhancing Social Studies Education: Implementing PA Core Standards and Collaborative Practices

Join us for an engaging professional development session focused on enhancing Social Studies education through the implementation of PA Core Standards. We will introduce best practices, discuss professional readings, and explore various Web 2.0 tools for teaching and writing. Participants will collaborate in groups to share, critique resources, and brainstorm innovative strategies for higher-order thinking in classrooms. With dedicated team time, educators will return to their schools with valuable insights and actionable ideas to enrich their curriculum.
