  2. Thanks to CCAMP & MPLS WGs • SG15 Q14 thanks CCAMP WG’s for the Liaison statements • On Crankback in GMPLS Systems • On Comparison of LMP and ASON Discovery • SG15 Q14 thanks CCAMP & MPLS WGs’ for the Liaison statement • On (G)MPLS Change Process • SG15 Q14 thanks CCAMP WG experts for attending the Q14/15 meetings and providing valuable insight and feedback • Co-Chair Mr. Adrian Farrel - the 12/2004 SG15 Geneva meeting • Mr. Igor Bryskin – the 1/2005 Q14/15 Holmdel meeting • SG15 Q14 looks forward to continue productive collaboration on future ASON protocol development

  3. ITU-T SG15 Activities • Signaling • Q14 appreciates the CCAMP clarifications regarding crankback • Crankback will be incorporated into the call model • The CCAMP clarification will be used to develop protocol requirements for the next revision of G.7713 (“Distributed call and connection management”) • G.7713 Revision is planned for May 2005 consent • After that, the protocol details from <draft-ietf-ccamp-crankback-03> can be incorporated into G.7713.2. • Routing • Continue to seek for protocol-specific routing solutions for ASON • Discovery • Continue to work on G.7714 Revision • As a result of the discussion of terminology, suggestion made to CCAMP to provide some additional context into <draft-ietf-ccamp-transport-lmp-00.txt> that will aid the members of the IETF in understanding the terminology used by the ITU-T (e.g., SNPP Link vs TE link, and Node)

  4. ITU-T SG15 Activities • ASON Management • G.7718 (Framework for ASON management) approved on Feb. 2005 • Continue to work on G.7718.1 (Protocol-neutral information model for Control Plane Management)
