  2. Bottom Line. What is Raven Anyway? • Raven is a new Avaya policy whereby Software systems are sold with support • When you buy a new System from Avaya (such as AIC) then you must purchase software support with it • Each product falls into the software Support model as the new releases go live.

  3. Ok, So what support can I buy? • Raven Support comes in two varieties with three different payment options • 1 year Software Support only (SS) • 3 Year Software Support and Upgrade (SSU) • This can be paid for Yearly or All at once up front • (annual pre pay or Pre pay) • The Customer is free to choose whichever option suits them best

  4. And what does all this cost? • 1 years Software Support (SS) coverage costs 15% of the value of the system being sold • 3 Years Software Support and Upgrade Service, paid in yearly installments, costs 21% of the value of the system being sold PER YEAR of coverage (so three payments of 21% each) • 3 Years Software Support and Upgrade (SSU) coverage paid in full up front costs 20% of the value of the system being sold PER YEAR of coverage (so one up front payment of 60%) • The value of the system being sold refers to the final value after all Regional, Business partner and other discounts are applied • So I buy an AIC system for 1,000 Euros • 1 year SS service costs 150 Euros • 3 Years SSU service paid yearly costs 210 Euros per year for 3 years • 3 Years SSU service paid up front costs 600 Euros
