Definition of Freestyle Skiing Aerials The sport of downhill skiing, involving the performance of acrobatic moves. Such as high jumps and somersaults. Brochure
Vocabulary Words of my Sport • 180 -A 180 degree rotation of the body and skis. • Air – When a skier performs a jump in the mogul run and two airs are required in both moguls. • Full In – A full twist on the first flip, followed by a double or triple somersault. • Full Out – A full twist on the last flip of a somersault. • Zudnick – The skier leans his or her upper body towards the tips of the skis, keeping the skis close together.

My Athlete At age 25, Vincent Marquis a Canadian freestyle skier won 4 world cup medals in 2007-08 season. He was an AAA football player(quarterback) in 2000 through 2003. He hopes to win a medal this year 2010.
