  3. The Problem (cntd.) Civilian drivers often get confused about the exact location of the emergency vehicle. Result: PANIC!!! To make way.

  4. Solution A smart traffic light. Warn Civilians minutes before an emergency vehicle comes by that way.

  6. Benefits • A warning signal in advance. • No need for any new communication infrastructure. • An emergency does not spawn new emergencies 
