  9. Pulse • Is caused by the regular beating of the heart as it moves blood through the body. • It will be faster or slower depending on the activity.

  10. FACTS • 60,000 miles of blood vessels in adult body • Blood vessels could circle the earth twice • Adults pump nearly 4,000 gallons of blood daily • A heart beats 30 million times a year
